hey bad mustard there is a problem in the most recent version i had to start over and do a new playthrough which is why i found it. when you get to the weddings and get through the preplanned ones with the mommas no matter who you choose next it acts like you are dropping all the others and are marrying them instead. i am on the full harem route and can't get past this part. because it acts like the next person is the last one.
strange. I started a new game and played through all the wedding with no problems
i would suggest starting a new game and try another play through, and save the game before the weddings and if you have a problem again send me the save game so I can take a look at it.
Faces look creepy af. I can't play this shit, it's like a horror game. Weird light, plastic faces, unnatural poses, stone face expressions. Make a horror about dolls, you'll have more success

Not sure why mr.essa didn't like your dialogue because I think it is the best thing about the avn. Admittedly, it can be a bit jarring jumping from one thing to the next with no easing into it--first meeting with Sophie/Sara for example--but the banter/dialogue from the MC and all the other characters is terrific. The low quality of the graphics is unfortunate but I still rate "Almost Dead" very highly.
As I'm playing thru the dialogue isnt great but I see where it's going. What would make it better is fixing the gaps in ur story. It flows but really slowly. Other than that it's a great game so far. The dialogue is just throwing me off massively which isn't making me enjoy the game properly

Other than that it's solid for the Genre and has a decent amount of content, so take that as Feedback and not a complaint :)

Is there supposed to be sound in this game? For some reason I hear nothing even when it's not muted or turned down and yes sound works in other games and on PC just fine, just not in Almost Dead.
Something you did in AD made me curious. There are a couple of scenes where GuoQiu and GuoAi are talking to each other, and you spell out their Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) speech in the dialogue using English letters -- sort of a phonetic spelling. I don't think I've ever seen this done before, and it gave me some idea of the sound of their conversation. What made you decide to use such an interesting "halfway" between Chinese and English here? Cheers!
It's actually pinyin "The official Romanization system for Standard Mandarin Chinese in China, and to some extent, in Singapore and Malaysia. It is often used to teach Mandarin, normally written in Chinese form, to learners already familiar with the Latin alphabet."
My wife does that for me, since my Chinese is crap. She suggested it so people wouldn't be so put off at seeing the Chinese characters since everything else would be in English.

no there are no sounds except a music track playing in the main menu.
