Chapter 10 WIP (update #8)

169 images and 5 animations have been created out of 225 total for this chapter. I got a lot done this weekend, with one minor setback. I noticed in one image after I posted it on Patreon that the MC's arm was hovering above the bed, so that's being re-rendering now.

Vollezar's VN "One Lie" is progressing nicely. The only thing I did on it this weekend was create a loading screen for it. Which I thought was amazing, but that just might be me admiring my own work (nah, it's really pretty cool really). It won't be published with everything I have done till this chapter is completed, but go follow him here at itch.io to stay up to date on this project.

I love Almost Dead, and I love you've picked up the slack for One Lie... I hope it grows to be as awesome as Almost Dead! Simply because I already love that girl, and want to see her happy!

Thank you, I kind of like that VN too 😂

I'm just doing the easy part with the coding, Vollezar got the hard part with writing and rendering for it !!!

If coding was *that* easy, Vollezar would do it... Having said that, I - despite being a former developer that speaks many (computer) languages - never looked at ren'py yet...
Any tutorials that would give me an idea?

How your python? (the language; come on)

Start with the tutorial that comes with the launcher. Pull apart everybody's code and look at how they did stuff. There's  r/RenPy,

Lemma Soft Forums (run by the creator of RenPy), and there are loads of renpy tutorials on YouTube ranging from noob's to advanced depends on want you want to do and who you can follow along with!!

My python is fine (as in I speak python well enough)!

I should really dig in to it one of these days… ;)

Since RenPy is written in python, you can write stuff in python and renpy will run the script there are a bunch of mini-games that are written in Python for renpy
