This is NOT a working version of Wolfenstein 3D for renpy!

It is a working framework that will let you create multiple levels of a maze or dungeon for your game that look similar to Wolfenstein 3D.

It uses 64x64 pixel images for everything (just like Wolfenstein).

It has 8 walls (wall 0 is an empty space) and 8 sprites (0-7). Sprites 1,2,3, and 6 can not be walked through (configurable). Sprite 5 can be picked up as treasure, and sprite 4 instantly heals you (then disappears); all other sprites can be walked over or under. I did NOT include any enemies since they don't move or shoot (that's beyond my programming skill set, but feel free to add those).

There are 2 levels included to provide a guide on setting up levels with sprites and exit placements, and enemy placement is not required.

I have left the quick menu turned on. I do caution against that exiting the Renpystein screen cause the player to return to the level's start position. I have disabled skipping for the same reason. The game menu is unreachable (except through the quick menu, for the same reason.

the ceiling and floors are like cake; they are a lie.

stay safe out there

source code for that is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/RenPy/comments/1wafbed/rencraft/

I am a well practised idiot.

you have absolutely no idea how i am about to abuse this for financial gain.

give me a little credit if you do!

Awesome job for everyone that has worked on this!

I do have a concern though. Aren't you worried about potential copyright issues?

I would maybe have plan to have backup assets and update the game using those assets instead, don't have to do it only when it's needed.

if there are any complaints, I can switch out the offending assets.

They came with gh0stenstein original assets dated 2011

Nice work Bad Mustard! (and others!) I've been trying to figure out renpy 3D for a while now. Thank you so much for releasing this!
