What's new? Well, I'm glad you asked.
- 9 possible background screens that can be locked and unlocked
- A progress bar in the music player for the song being played and larger icons there
- Complete rework of the message screen for easier messages and how they are displayed
- Fixed the "VPGrid not full" error for renpy 8 (you do NOT need to add define config.allow_underfull_grids = True anymore to make it work)
- turning off the phone now stops the music that it is playing
- an extremely simple choice menu for 2-3 items only
I reworked the message system to make it easier to create the messages. (well, I think they are easier now) This also makes it incompatible with the original version.

Greetings BadMustard,
Great script, fun to tinker with and and fairly easy to understand for a Ren'Py-noob like me. Learning a lot from it.
One question though: when switching from girl1 to girl2 on the status page the image of the girl stays the same (girl1_bg.png). Don't know if it's me or something missing in the code, since the original images are identical. Any help would be much appreciated. Here's the situation:

You are correct, it does not switch images (that will teach me to use the same image twice(lazy programmer)!)
I will dig around in the code and fix this asap.

Took me a minute to recognize that you have to close the phone via the bottom button before the pre-made tutorial/introduction can continue, but once I grasped the obvious (durrrr), all was well. Thanks for the improved version, BM! Much appreciated!
